Whatever type of production, the watering system plays a prominent role both for the performance and the stability of the herd. It is important to choose the right type of drinker since sheep and goats have a sensitive muzzle. A drinker with constant water level offers the most natural way of drinking, but has to be cleaned more frequently. A model with push tube such as BABYLAB™ is easy to clean and very easy to operate even for very young animals and often better suited.
